Dr. Cervino serves as the Assistant Vice-Chair for Diversity as well as Technology Section Chief for both Breast Cancer and Gynecologic Malignancies. She oversees a research lab with the Center for Translational Radiation Medicine & Imaging (CTRMI) within the Altman Clinical Translational Research Institute (CTRI).

Her main research focus is on image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), including applications of surface imaging, development of motion management techniques and image-guided brachytherapy. Dr. Cervino is also interested in the improvement of the efficacy of quality and safety approaches in the clinic.
